A child walks into school with a question
In many backward villages, children are bright and curious, but they rarely get the tools, books and experiments that make learning feel alive.

Help the Umeed program reach more young learners through playful, hands-on discovery.
Small discoveries. Stronger beginnings.

Umeed Program
Umeed brings science workshops and a one-rupee library model to backward village government schools, so children learn with curiosity, dignity and ownership.

Why Umeed
Many children avoid free facilities because they feel shame or distance. Umeed keeps the library accessible with a symbolic one-rupee daily contribution, helping students feel, "This space is mine too."

The Umeed Journey
In many backward villages, children are bright and curious, but they rarely get the tools, books and experiments that make learning feel alive.
We organize practical science sessions in government schools: simple experiments, observation activities, model making and stories that connect learning with everyday life.
The library is almost free, but students contribute one rupee a day. That small amount is not about money; it helps children feel they are participating with pride, not receiving charity with hesitation.
When a child pays, reads, experiments and explains, they begin to feel ownership of their learning. That is where Umeed becomes more than a program.

Human Touch
A one-rupee library may sound small, but for a child it creates a feeling of participation. They borrow a book not because someone allowed them to sit for free, but because they are part of the learning space.

Government school and community-first delivery.
Schools We Work With
We document every school session, workshop request and student activity so the learning journey feels visible and trustworthy.

Student Voices
Short video moments are the best proof that science feels different when children build, observe and speak for themselves.
